He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick H. Smith and Julia Smith (Czackowski). He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline A. Smith (Taylor); his children, Dr. Jonathan M. Smith (Refen), Steven F. Smith (Melinda) of Oregon, Francene Kemp (Roland) of Taunton and Betsy Wetherell (Jason) of Taunton; his grandchildren, Amanda, Jake Wetherell, Caroline and Charlotte Smith; and his sister Betty Sprague. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins.
