We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2025, at the age of 82, Carol A. Doherty of Taunton, Massachusetts passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carol A. Doherty to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Chantre and Mary Chantre (Gomes). She is survived by: her husband Dennis Cook; her stepdaughters, Sandy Andersen (Bob) of Lakeville and Holly Hanna (Jason) of Hingham; her nephew Michel Mok (Nancy Cronkite); her niece Mendel Mok; her grandchildren, Paige, Emily, Zoe Andersen, Emerson and Kepler Hanna; her great-niece Bella Mok; her cousin Paul Trznadel (Mary Ann); and also Nicole.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home (350 Somerset Ave, Taunton, MA 02780). To that end, she was devoted to constituent services, often working until the early hours of the morning to secure unemployment assistance for people laid off during the COVID-19 pandemic, housing for families in need, and help for those any and all who needed it.
