He is survived by: his wife Maria Almeida (Resendes); his children, Ricardo Almeida (Jodi Dawson) of Acushnet, Melissa Machado (Nuno Machado) of Swansea, Teresa Freitas of Taunton and Cidalia Correia of Winter Haven, FL.; his grandchildren, Krista Azevedo, Shania Machado, Nathan Machado, Brianna Correia and Noah Machado; his great grandchildren, Jaxtyn Courcy and Rhea Pina; and his siblings, Arsenio Duarte (Fatima) and Mary Jo Diego (Irene Franco).
