Merces Moniz Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merces Moniz of Swansea, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 19, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Moniz; her parents, Joseph Andrade and Merces Andrade (Martin); her close friend Delores Nicolau; her sons, Christopher Moniz and Frank Moniz; and her brothers, James, Joseph and Dennis Andrade.
She is survived by: her close friends, Lorraine Sawejko, Irene Andrade and Olive Rego; her daughters, Julie Bonanca (John) of Swansea and Jane Moniz of Swansea; her sister-in-law Irene Andrade; her grandchildren, Jordan, Jasmine Bonanca, Timothy, Joshua Tobin, Kelsey, Christopher and Christionna Moniz; and her great grandchildren, Jacoby, Jett and Jayla Bonanca. She is also survived by her family, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
