He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Arruda and Maria Arruda (Sousa-Diogo). He is survived by: his wife Leontina Arruda (Moreira) of Swansea; his daughters, Diane Torres (Richard) of Swansea and Michelle Arruda of Swansea; his grandchildren, Tyler Torres (Bryanna), Trevor Torres (Abbey), Mackenzie Arruda and Giovanni McCarthy; his great grandchildren, Katerina Torres and Holden Torres; his siblings, Francisco Arruda, Manuel Arruda, Maria Helena Silva, Alda Oliveira, Idalina Espinola and Odete Vieira; and his nieces, Melinda, Kayla and Nancy.
