He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherlock Sorem and Anna Sorem. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Sorem (Geary); his son Douglas Sorem (Little Doug); his grandchildren, Marc and Olivia Sorem; and his siblings, Kevin Sorem (Claudia), Karen Wood (Thomas) and Mary Lero (Joseph). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
