She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Sommers (Michael) and Matthew Thomas (Holly); her grandchildren, Paige Sommers and Noah Sommers; and her siblings, Richard Furtado, Christine Ramos, Edward Furtado Jr. and Pamela Taylor.
