He was predeceased by: his mother Cynthia Rothwell (Weaver); and his wife Lori Desmarais (Machado). He is survived by: his father David A. Desmarais Sr. of Simpsonville, SC; his siblings, Greg Desmarais of South Carolina, Donna Quaste (Richard Thomas) of Pennsylvania, Paula Hanson (Daniel Hanson) of Bristol, RI, Jennifer Sobolewski of Dighton, MA and Russell Rothwell of New Bedford, MA; his stepparents, Sue Desmarais of South Carolina and Russell Rothwell of Dighton, MA; and his pet Levi. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
