He was predeceased by: his spouse Sally Torrey (Karr); his parent Stephen Torrey; and his sibling Stephen Torrey. He is survived by: his parent Doris Torrey (Bray); his children, Bruce M. Torrey (Beth) of Winchester, MA, Diane Gamache (Normand) of Center Conway, NH and Kristin Beliveau (James) of Lynn; his grandchildren, Tori Beliveau, Andrew Guido, Ryan Beliveau, Christina Cipriani, Andrew Torrey and Justin Gamache; his stepgrandchildren, Brendan Gamache (Tina) and Nicholas Gamache (Hanna); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Henry Gamache and Amy Gamache; his great grandchild Mason Beliveau; and his siblings, Barbara Gaillardet of Beverly, Charles Torrey and Richard Torrey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
