She was predeceased by: her husband John F. McNeil; and her son William McNeil. She is survived by: her parents, Dominic McGarry and Cora McGarry; her children, John McNeil, III, Maura McNeil, Robert McNeil, Janet McNeil and Bart McNeil; her daughters-in-law, Susan McNeil and Cathy McNeil; her grandchildren, Caroline, Maria, Ryan and Lexi; and her siblings-in-law, Paul and Maureen McNeil. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution in Rita's honor can be made to the Padre Pio Foundation of America or the National Shrine of the Divine Mercy.
