With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rita A. Doherty of Swampscott, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Rita left this world on December 15, 2024 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Neal F. Doherty; her parents, John "Mac" McDermott and Ann McDermott (Syms); and her siblings, John "Jack" McDermott, William "Bill" McDermott and Jane Camillo.
She is survived by: her sons, William F. Doherty (Elizabeth) and Neil D. Doherty (Deborah); her grandchildren, Kevin D. Doherty (Kelsey Bowen) and Danielle E. Zignorski (Matt); and her sister Patricia Bisenti. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
