With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary E. Murphy of Swampscott, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 23, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Goldsmith Murphy; her parents, William O'Brien and Catherine O'Brien (Grady); and her siblings, Catherine and Billy.

She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Murphy (Shana) of Danvers and Aidan Murphy (Nicole) of Beverly; her grandchildren, Jaxon, Jillian, Cameron, June and Marlowe Murphy; and her siblings, Anna, Paul and Nora. She is also survived by sisters-in-law and her nieces, nephews.

A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish (89 Arlington St, Acton, MA 01720).
