It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Julia Rainone (Swampscott, Massachusetts), born in Lynn, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 11, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Goguen and Julia Goguen; her former husband Guy Joseph DiPietro; her siblings, Joseph, Raymond Goguen and Rita Leblanc; and her children, Gerald DiPietro, Joseph, Dolores Rainone and Marilyn Engstrom.
She is survived by: her husband Anthony James Rainone, Sr.; and her children, John DiPietro (Barbara) of Swampscott, Michael DiPietro (Darilyn) of Haverhill, Anthony Rainone, Jr. (Elizabeth) of Ipswich, Eileen DeChantal of San Diego, Carol Perry (Frank) of Swampscott, Kathleen Elliott (Dan) of Hampton, NH and Mary Buckley of Bradford. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
