It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn S. Vener of Swampscott, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 16, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sister Harriett Rostoff; and her parents, Isaac "Irving" Yudin and Rose Yudin (Finkle). She is survived by: her husband Philip G. Vener; her children, Andrea Katz of Lynn, Jim Vener of Swampscott and Ron Vener (Erica) of Marblehead; her grandchildren, Olivia, Nicolas, Sophia Vener, Ariel Katz (Eliza), Jonah Katz and Sarah Katz; her great grandchildren, Shoshana, Ilan and Avital Katz; her brother Stanley Yudin of Sarasota, FL; and her friend Jewish.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel (10 Vinnin St, Salem, MA 01970).
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Swampscott Senior Center, 200 Essex Street, Swampscott, MA 01907 and/or Congregation Shirat Hayam , 55 Atlantic Avenue, Swampscott, MA 01907.
