In loving memory of Joseph F. DiPietro of Swampscott, Massachusetts, who departed this world on February 16, 2025 at the age of 70. Joseph leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Grace DiPietro and Frank DiPietro. He is survived by: his children, Christopher DiPietro (Danielle) of Stoneham, MA, Marisa Canavan (Joe) of Reading, MA and Kaleigh Lamb (Joey) of Kitty Hawk, NC.; his grandchildren, Finley, Logan, Gianna and Quinn; his siblings, Michael DiPietro (Christine) of Reading, MA, Maria DiPietro Bayus (late Kazim) of Marblehead, MA, Frank DiPietro and Ann Fanning of Attleboro, MA; and his nieces and nephews, Lidia Bayus, Ava Bayus, Anna DiPietro, Alex DiPietro and Ainsley DiPietro.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Gately Funeral Home (79 W Foster St, Melrose, MA 02176). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Mary's Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
