Gerald Appel Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 23, 2021, at the age of 88, Gerald Appel of Swampscott, Massachusetts, born in Mattapan, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Esther Appel (Starr). He is survived by: his wife Nancy (Miller); his father Israel Appel; his children, Vicki Engelberg (Mark), Howard Appel and Dana Appel Young; his grandchildren, Robert Appel, Michael Appel, Stephen Appel, Samantha Young, Harrison Young and Charlie Young; and his sister Joanne Schwartz (Appel). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Due to current COVID conditions, the family will not be holding Shiva.
