She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ames and Bernice Ames (Conner); and her significant other Donald Spinney of Lynn, MA.. She is survived by: her husband Joe Morrisey; her child Donald Spinney; her sister Dawn Crocker (Ames Pinkham); and her children, Kate Derwin (Morrisey), Carole Echanis (Morrisey), Alison Morrisey and William Morrisey.
