It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor E. Appleyard of Swampscott, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 11, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Cafferty and Ellen Cafferty of Somerville, MA; and her siblings, Anthony J., Jr., Kevin and Eileen Theilman.

She is survived by: her husband Bill; her children, Maureen (Jim) of Essex, Jennifer (Kelvin) of Melrose and Bill (Lauren) of Seattle, WA; and her grandchildren, Margaret, Doron, Samuel, William and Kathleen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
