Bette S. Elfman Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bette S. Elfman (Swampscott, Massachusetts), born in Revere, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 5, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband David E. Elfman. She is survived by: her children, Merrick "Rick" (Allison) of Chicago, Reeven (Lisa Drew) of Portland and Baubi; her sisters, Doris Kaufman of Revere and Cecile Rothaus (Al) of Boca Raton; her sister-in-law May Kaufman of Swampscott; and her siblings, Jeanne Zucker and James Kaufman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Due to the regulations imposed by the coronavirus pandemic, a private graveside service was held.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Bette Elfman's memory to the Jewish United Fund, JUF.org/donate or to AIPAC.org.
