He is survived by: his parents, Charles D. Sala and Marceline V. Sala (Monette); his wife Mary T. Sala (McGovern); his children, Roger Sala of Sutton, Marcy Sala of Amherst, Gene Sala (Debbie) of Adams and Gia Young (Brian) of Dobbs Ferry, NY.; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Max, Isabella Young, Joseph Russell, Daniel, Claudia, Natalie Sala, Gene and Sam Sala; his great grandchild Andrik Lenski-Sala; his sister Dorothy Bliss; and his close friend Timothy McGovern. He is also survived by several other sisters and brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours at the funeral home will be Friday, September 28, from 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Roger's grandnephew, Samuel McGovern, may be made to The Jimmy Fund (Boston) in care of the funeral home.
