He was predeceased by: his parents, David V. Sr. DeCosta and Rita L DeCosta (Phaneuf). He is survived by: his siblings, Steven (Joan) of Norwood and Gail Geary (George) of Norwood; his niece Hope; and his nephew Aaron. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
