It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Russellyne Robbins of Sudbury, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 1, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Russellyne may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Pitcher and Marion Pitcher (Logan); and her siblings, Marion R. Lett, Adrienne Gowen, Gail Pacifico and Marlene Smithers.
She is survived by: her children, Karyn Robbins of Medford and Russellyne "Russy" Welch of Methuen; and her grandchildren, Tyler Welch, Lauren Bacheller and Brianna Welch. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the George L Doherty Funeral Service (855 Broadway, Somerville, MA 02144). A prayer will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Oak Grove Cemetery (230 Playstead Rd, Medford, MA 02155).
