It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Fernald Porter of Sudbury, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 2, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Porter and Edna Porter (Fernald); his grandson Justin Robert Capone; his brother David Porter; and his father-in-law Norman H. Poirier.
He is survived by: his wife Paula J. Porter (Poirier); his daughters, Carol Capone (Rob) of Maynard, Christine Boyd (Bob) of Sudbury, Amy Snow (Jim) of Sudbury and Elizabeth Porter of Sudbury; his grandchildren, Jacquelyn Capone, Courtney Wesley (Evan), Ashley Capone, Meagan Capone, Thomas Boyd, Lauren Boyd, Daniel Boyd, Hannah Snow and Brooklyn Porter; his great grandchild Connor Capone; his brothers, William Porter (Anne) of Milwaukee, WI, Doug Porter (Doreen) of Bellingham, MA and Mark Porter of Leominster, MA; his mother-in-law Joan Poirier; and his siblings-in-law, Janice Porter, William Poirier (Anne) and Norman Poirier (Kris Watson). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
