He is survived by: his wife Doris (Ward); his children, Susan Henderson (Peter) of Marlborough, Robert Armstrong (Sherry) of Harvard, Cheryl Nobile (Michael) of Boston and Lauren Hammond (Todd) of Sudbury; his siblings, Shelley Blais (Jack) and Roy Armstrong (Maria); and his sisters-in-law, Penny Armstrong and Carolyn Crawford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Ronald's memory to the American Cancer Society.
