With solemn reverence, we commemorate Richard H. Davison (Sudbury, Massachusetts), whose life came to an end on September 8, 2024 at the age of 85, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Howe Parmenter Davison and Theodore Remer Davison, Jr.; and his brother Theodore Raymond Davison. He is survived by: his brother David Parmenter Davison; his wife Sheila (Moynihan); his children, Jeffrey (Ann) and Suzanne Dongarra (Bruce); his grandchildren, Kate Davison (Seth Cohen), Corey Davison (Luca Koritsanszky), Jessica Adams (Evan), Wes Dongarra and Allyson Dongarra; and his great grandchildren, Riley Adams and Ari Cohen.

Donations in his memory can be made to the Wayside Inn Foundation (wayside.org) or First Parish of Sudbury, 327 Concord Road, memo line "Building Preservation Fund" which is restricted to preservation of the historic building.

“Love and friendship. Rich and his wife were good friends when Mark and I lived in Framingham, Mass. Rich did incredible work for his community and particularly education. He will be missed in many ways. Mark was an educator in Framingham and they could talk for hours about it. His legacy will go on. And although Mark has also passed, our friendship is a gift.
