We bid farewell to Maryann Cunniff of Sturbridge, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 29, 2025 at the age of 81. Maryann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As Maryann departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Maryann. Though Maryann may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Janet Shea Griswold (Reese) and Edward Griswold. She is survived by: her husband James Cunniff; her daughters, Catherine Brooks (Robert) of Leverett, MA and Elissa Porter (Mark) of Barrington, NH; her grandchildren, Robert and Ava; and her sister Nancy Flynn of North Chesterfield, VA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Sansoucy Funeral Home (40 Marcy St, Southbridge, MA 01550). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Notre Dame Church (446 Main St, Southbridge, MA 01550).
