He was predeceased by: his father Lowell C. Mercier. He is survived by: his children, Mark D. Mercier, Jr. of Ormond Beach, FL, Laura M. Dumas (Jody) of Southbridge and Gina M. McCullough (Andrew) of Charlton; his mother Marylin Mercier (Monroe) of Webster; his brothers, Lowell W. Mercier (Cathy) of Framingham and Craig J. Mercier (Ann) of Burlington; his former wife Bonnie Mercier (Bruneau); and his grandchildren, Marissa Dumas, Zachary Dumas, Trinity Mercier, Alexander Mercier and Benjamin McCullough.
