We are sad to announce that on September 15, 2024, at the age of 81, Marie A. Fontaine of Sturbridge, Massachusetts, born in Springfield, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Marie departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Marie may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Marie leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her son Mark Sierak; her former husband John Wetteland; and her mother Marie Ann Dion. She is survived by: her husband Paul A. Fontaine; her children, Michelle Gray (Eric) of Charlton and Michael Sierak (Tim Walsh) of Sturbridge; and her grandchildren, Joseph Gray (Emily) and Carlie Kenison (Andrew). She is also survived by her three great grandchildren, as well as several step children.
