Catherine Vangel Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Vangel of Sturbridge, Massachusetts, born in Marlborough, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 6, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel C. Vangel; her siblings, Harriet, Joanne, Sophie, Henrietta, Jimmy, Louie and George; her son-in-law Edward C. Brousseau; and her parents, Costas Chaousis and Ellen Chaousis (Koukourlis).
She is survived by: her children, Ellen M. Vangel-Brousseau and Anthony S. Vangel; her brother Christos Chaousis; her grandchildren, Wesley Vangel (Chelsea), Kaylee Prochilo (Anthony), Larissa Vangel and Catherine Brousseau; and her great grandchildren, Kennedy Vangel and Eloise Vangel. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
