She was predeceased by: her former husband Eugene J. Benoit; her husband Hilaire Cournoyer; her parents, John Suminski and Anna Suminski (Baron); her sister Jania Massoletti; and her husband Denis Downing.
She is survived by: her sister Dr. Mae Suminski of Sturbridge; and her children, John Benoit of Woodstock, CT, Dona Nashawty of Sturbridge, Katherine Jerr (Richard) of Fort Myers, FL, Jane Fitzgibbons (Brian) of Sturbridge and Jacquie Anne Larson (Bob) of Haddem, CT.. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
