He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne A. Tierney (Connors) and George A. Tierney; and his siblings, Joanne Adamson and Stephen Tierney. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Stewart (Kathy); his children, Flora Tierney of Palo Alto, CA and George Tierney of Bolton, MA.; his brothers, Paul (Rose Tierney) and George (Patti Tierney); and his sister-in-law Jessica Tierney of Poulsbo, WA.. He is also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
