He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Brown and Julia Brown (Hogan); his wife Rosemary Carroll (Carroll) of Salem, MA.; his brother Francis Brown (Marie); and his cousins, Joan Wilkinson (Poni Brown), Bob Brown, John Brown, Joseph Brown and Dorothy O'Leary (Dottie Brown).

He is survived by: his daughter Sharon D. Brown (Thomas J. Coughlin, Jr.); his grandson Edward A. Coughlin; and his friend Betty Brennan-Shea of Salem. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
