William J. Murphy Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William J. Murphy of Stoughton, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 4, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Lucinda (Morgan); his brother James S. Murphy; his uncle Joseph; his aunt Alice Gaultier; and his friend Terence Elder.

He is survived by: his cousin Derek Gaultier (Missy); his aunt Iris Lawrence (Kevin O'Connor) of Maine; his cousin Chris Lawrence (Erin) of Taunton; his close friends, Martha and Tom Ross; and his friend Peter Cali (Sharon Tighe). He is also survived by friends and clients who became friends and family.

Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services (605 Washington St, South Easton, MA 02375). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Church (225 Purchase St, South Easton, MA 02375). A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery (97 Canton St, North Easton, MA 02356).
