He was predeceased by: his siblings, John Doucette and Ellen Carlton. He is survived by: his wife Silvana Concannon (Cimildoro); his stepson Michael J. Cimildoro (Meaghan) of Scituate; his grandchildren, Joseph and Lila Cimildoro; and his sister Cathy Dodd of Upton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Dewey's memory may be made to Mass General Cardiovascular Center.
