He was predeceased by: his wife Adeline M. Carter (Struzziero); and his siblings, Adrian Carter and Harry Carter. He is survived by: his significant other Patricia Johnson; and his sons, Gary P. Carter (MaryAnne) of Stoughton, James R. Carter (Cheryl) of Burlington and David A. Carter (Patricia) of Bourne. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
