We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2023, at the age of 82, Mary Lois (Gilliam) Brown (Stoughton, Massachusetts), born in Woodruff, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sister Hazel Gilliam Suber. She is survived by: her daughters, Jacqueline M. Griswold (Ralph) of Randolph and Josette C. Butler (Barrando) of Brockton; her grandchildren, Zylette M. Goler (Jason) and Shaun J. Griswold; her great grandchildren, Desmond and Nyvette Goler; and her siblings, Suzon Gilliam Durham and Bessie Gilliam Johnson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's name may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute where she received exceptional care from Dr. Ann S. LaCasce, MD, MMSc, Director of the Dana-Farber/Mass General Brigham Fellowship, and her team at the Hematologic Oncology Treatment Center in Boston.
