She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph R. Serpa; her parents, João F. and Maria Luisa Coelho (Paiva); her child Matilde M. Hayes; her grandson Kevin Serpa; and her sister Serafina Coelho.
She is survived by: her children, Grace M. Serpa of Stoughton and Joseph Serpa (Tammy) of Taunton; her grandchildren, Gene Hayes, Curtis Hayes (Jessica), Melissa Gallagher (Tomas), Christine Serpa, Amanda Dubeau (Katie) and Emily Serpa; and her siblings, Helen Coelho of Stoughton and Ines Jorge of Stoughton. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
