It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margarida Dulce Amado (Stoughton, Massachusetts), who passed away on November 20, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Antonio Amado; and her parents, Balbina Goncalves and Americo Fidalgo. She is survived by: her children, Eunice Monteiro (Antonio) of Easton, Nelson Amado of Randolph, Bartolomeu Amado of Randolph and Maria Amado-Cardoso (Jose Afro Cardoso) of Stoughton; and her siblings, Baltazar Fidalgo of Cape Verde, Antonio Fidalgo of Boston, Egidio Fidalgo of Bridgeport, CT, Maria Fatima Fidalgo of Lisbon, Orlando Fidalgo of Boston, Maria Gertrudes Mesquita of Boston, Maria Jose Monteiro of Boston, Pedro Fidalgo of Boston, Maria Filomena Evora of Boston, Ludovina Evora of Boston, Izilda Alves, Dinis Fidalgo and Francisco Fidalgo. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, and leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
