He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Carleton (John) and Maurice Schaeffer; his great grandchild Jameson; and his siblings, Lillian, Richard and Catherine.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine R. Carleton (Vitale); his children, Christine Carleton of Brockton, Richard Carleton (Roberta) of Pelham, NH and Linda Lane of Fall River; his grandchildren, Charissa, Ciara, Christopher, Jamie, Bobby, Ryan, Kristen and Makayla; and his great grandchildren, Tristen, Lily and Bradley.
