He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Smith Barros and Carmen Barros (Jacinto). He is survived by: his wife Gabriela M. Barros (Filipe); his sons, Paul Barros of Stoughton and Nelson Barros of Pepperell; his grandson Alex Barros; and his siblings, Gloria Andrade of Stoughton and Jose Barros of Stoughton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
