He was predeceased by: his spouse Beverly Holak DeMello-Walsh; his parents, John H. Walsh and Esther Furhman Walsh; and his sister Lillian Busby. He is survived by: his children, Dianne Waugh-Larsen (Jens), Mary Anne Walsh, Gerard Walsh (Michele), Edward T. Walsh, Jr. (Tara), Jeffrey DeMello (Karen), Deborah DeMello and Karen DeMello MacDonald; his former wife Helen Walsh-Holman; his grandchildren, Matthew Waugh, Christopher Walsh, Hannah Walsh Romans, Joseph Walsh, Alyssa DeMello McConnell, Amber DeMello Mucka, Robert MacDonald and Ian MacDonald; his great grandchildren, Liam Waugh, Luca Waugh, Elena McConnell, Dominic McConnell, Brynn Mucka and Reed Edward MacDonald; and his nephews, Robert Busby and Richard Busby. He is also survived by several cousins and close friends.
