She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Natalie Daboll Berry and Charles Harold Berry; her sisters, Carolyn (Jacobs), Ruth (Hilton) and Belmont; her husband Paul Ronald Humez; her daughters, Ellen Humez, Phyllis Humez (Stuart Edson) and Martha Sidahmed (Sid); her grandchildren, Anya Jackson (Niall), Stefan Sidahmed and Genevieve Humez-Rousseau (Jonathan Hickey); her great grandchildren, Luka, Milo Jackson, Gaia and Bruno Sidahmed; and her nieces and nephews, Jon Hilton (Tina), Deborah Jacobs (Bob Evert), Michael Jacobs, Alex Humez (Jean), Nick Humez (Leslie) and Cecily Pilzer.
In 2002, she was the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award from Choral Arts New England for "exceptional contributions to choral singing and its culture within New England".
