He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Mallard, Sr. and Edna Nichols Mallard; and his brother Warren Mallard. He is survived by: his brother Michael Mallard of New Hampshire; his former wife Mariacarmela Mallard-Sabella of Everett; and his pets, Miracle and Toby. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory can be made to the American Diabetes Association P.O. Box 7023 Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
