He was predeceased by: his wife Lucia (Fusco); his parents, Mario Carfagnini and Bice Carfagnini; and his brother Antonio. He is survived by: his children, Robert (Lisa Carfagnini) of Stoneham and Angela Baliestiero (Brandon) of Stoneham; his grandchildren, Joseph, Lily, David, Nicholas, Lauren and Matthew; and his siblings, Giuseppe, Liborio, Maria, Alfredo and Maurizio. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
