With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William W. Bird Jr. of Sterling, Massachusetts, born in Harrisonburg, Virginia, who passed away on August 13, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Anne Morrison Bird of Helena, MT; his son William Bird of Germany; and his parents, William Bird and Margaret Bird. He is survived by: his wife Maxine; his son Rob Beard (Alecia) of Russellville, AL; his sister Beverly Miller of Hoschton, GA; his daughter-in-law Elisha Epstein Bird (Lish); his stepchildren, Robert Foley, Mary Foley of Leominster and Paul Foley of Orange City, FL.; and his grandchildren, Sibylla Bird, Ciara Hebert, Cayden Ago and Jaxon Foley.
In lieu of flowers, Bill requested that donations be made to the Sterling Animal Shelter at 17 Laurelwood Rd, Sterling, MA 01564.
