It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia (Schmidt) Ittner of Sterling, Massachusetts, born in Clinton, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 3, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Schmidt and V. Estelle Schmidt (Hamilton); her husband Charles E. Ittner; her brother William R. Schmidt (Mary); her nephew Robert A. Schmidt; her niece Claudia Stuart Anderson; and her sisters-in-law, Gladys Stuart, Inge Lotze, Ruth Steinau, Erika Devereaux and Eleanor Ittner.

She is survived by: her daughters, Dotty (Ed Waseleski) of Southwick, Kathy (Bob Bateman) of Leominster and Nancy (Paul Horton) of Sterling; her grandchildren, Sean Horton, Nikki Mooar, Jennifer LaFleur, Christine (Bobby Richard) and Brad Zelny (Lillie Sheldrick); and her great grandchildren, Drew, Benjamin Richard, Jeremy, Miranda LaFleur and Alexis Marie Zelny.
