She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon W. Smith; and her parents, S. Leander Carlson and Julia Carlson (Dahlgren). She is survived by: her children, Kenneth G. Smith of Danvers, Karl R. Smith (Laurie) of Princeton and Deborah J. Smith of Chelmsford; her grandchildren, Mandee, Kirsten, Derek, Margot, Anthony and Christina; her great grandchildren, Sadie Mae, Jeremy, Tessa Grace and Ainsley; her brother Kenneth L. Carlson; and her nieces, Jody, Amy and Cheryl.
