She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Cooper and Edith Cooper (Alger); her husband James Joy; her children, Amanda Roy of Sterling, Andrew Blake of Florida and Candace Plummer of Florida; her brothers, Richard Cooper and Gerald Cooper; her grandsons, Joseph Blake, Michael Plummer, Kristopher Plummer and Michael Roy; her great grandchildren, Leilah and Zell Plummer; and her brother Robert Cooper. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sterling Ambulance Fund.
