He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bloemer and Julia Bloemer (Fahrner). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Erzsi" Bloemer (Laky); his children, Steven F. Bloemer (Siobhán Gallagher-Bloemer) of Sedro-Woolley, WA, Katalin M. J. Saylor (Eric) of Richardson, TX, Teresa M. Bloemer of Brookline, Alice E. Bloemer and Peter T. Bloemer of Chicago; his grandchildren, Caoilfhionn, Edmund and Joseph; and his siblings, Marion Welch (Ron) of Austin, TX and Paul Bloemer of Tucson, AZ. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members and many dear friends.
