It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard J. Furmanick of Sterling, Massachusetts, born in Clinton, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 15, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Furmanick and Hedwig Furmanick (Sulkoski); and his siblings, John Furmanick and Joan Kush. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Betty Pekkola of Warwick, RI, Richard Furmanick Jr. (Laura) of Raymond, NH, Roger Furmanick (Linda) of Nashville, TN and Randy Furmanick (Teresa) of Harvard; his sister Elaine Brown; his grandchildren, Jessica Nason, Nicole Pekkola, Christopher Furmanick, Jacob Furmanick and Alexis Furmanick; and his great grandchildren, Eddie Nason, Sammy Nason and Calla Nason. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
